Default Xinrae's weapon

Xinrae's Weapon

For 4...9 seconds, target ally has Xinrae's Weapon. Whenever a foe casts a Spell on that ally, that Spell is disabled for an additional 5...13 seconds for that foe and all party members of that foe.

I used the search function, but coudn't find answer to my question regarding this weapon spell.

My question: Will the disabling effect stack?

For example if two SF eles attack same target (whose under effect of Xinrae's Weapon). Will the first ele to cast SF have it disabled for additional ~10 seconds and the second ele for ~20 seconds or both just have additional ~10 seconds?

You won't be able to cast it a second time because the thing is disabled...

I see, I must have misunderstood the skill description then. Wording of it ("...disabled for additional...") made me understand it differently. So you're saying that the spell used will be instantly disable for all party members.

no. when someone tries to cast a spell on the affected (by the weapon spell) party member, the spell they cast will be disabled for X seconds for each party member they have. Do you get it? so they cant recast the spell again, cause it will be disabled. So it cant stack.

if you still dont get it, then take a look at the diagram: lol

FOE AFFECTED PARTY MEMBER
FOE casts spell on AFFECTED PARTY MEMBER
FOE's spell is disabled for X seconds for each party member of FOE

I never felt so jobless...

um...no. Otherwise it should say "It is disabled for xxx seconds plus an additional xxx sexonds for each party member of that foe." dgb is correct.

The reason why they placed in "additional" in the text is because this time is added onto the normal recharge time of that skill. It's the same with Diversion.

What will happen is this:

1: 4 Foes use Searing Flames on target with Xinrae's Weapon
2: The first foe to strike with Searing Flames will deal damage to the target with Xinrae's Weapon, and it will then be disabled for an additional 5...13 seconds.
3: The other three foes will be interrupted because Searing Flames has already been disabled for them, but will recharge in 5...13 seconds (because the spell wasn't fully excecuted, it will not face it's normal recharge on top of it) - thanks to the first foe.
